Initially, milk tea also encountered barriers to consumption habits. However, what is more important is that the “big boys” in the milk tea industry has not entered the market strongly. That makes the process of bringing products into people’s lives is not fast.
However, after seeing the market potential, a series of big men jumped into the milk tea market. And when there is the push from the big guys, the market response is very strong.
In my opinion, the main difference of these two stages is the participation of big players, the international tea milk brand into this market.
– Whenever you start a coffee business and have many other types of food, what are the advantages and disadvantages of making tea franchise compared to making these types of drinks?
– – The price of milk tea franchise is quite good compared to the franchise of international brands such as McDonald’s, KFC, Lotteria … In addition, the level of investment commitments and other conditions under me. It’s easier than getting a license from the big guys about international food.
This is really understandable, because the famous brand of tea milk is only a very small age compared to the big men mentioned above, not to mention the brand trust at the global level is not comparable.
However, the downside is also that out. It is possible that the franchisors have not yet had the legal process, regulatory and legal framework as strong as the international giants, whose recent milk tea brands have few units. We all recognize ourselves as a legitimate franchisee in Vietnam.
– What is the risk of investing in franchised milk compared to other types?
– Apparently, the trend of dairy tea industry is up. The market demand is also huge and the excitement is what everyone can feel. At this point, it is true that the business of milk tea or milk franchise investment has a far lower risk than other types of bars.
When the market explodes, everyone has “sweet”. But looking farther, when the market gradually stabilizes, the fever passes, there will be purification gradually. Only strong brands, good products survive and grow. Brands that do not meet these two requirements will be discarded.
– Do you think milk tea will “sink” again in the near future or will it continue to exist?
– Many people think that the milk tea fever is transient, but if you look at the regional level, this will be the trend of “long-term” development. Big brands in the world have also looked at the business of milk tea, move the milk tea into the menu or develop the brand of milk tea, which shows the true potential of the product line.
In my opinion, milk tea will not die prematurely such as the short-term spicy noodles 7 levels or white tea. It will be a long-term development trend and will become part of the consumption habits of Vietnamese people, especially young people.
